Specific forum topics include the effects future regulations and controls are likely to have on IT, how IT processes should be configured in order to keep IT systems valid, and how cloud computing, and similar advanced techniques, are to be evaluated under various GxP stipulations.
Substandard breast implants and hip joints containing heavy metals—what is the link between such concerns and IT? This and many other questions will be answered by experts from specialist associations, the consulting arena and industry at the Tuttlingen MedTech Forum. Host DHC is being supported by HDI Gerling and the medtech specialist associations Spectaris and BVMed in organising the event. Practical insights will be provided through presentations by responsible managers working at such medical technology companies as Heraeus Kulzer GmbH and Olympus Surgical Technologies Europe and by experts from the associations and consulting firms.
Knowledge acquisition, exchange of experience
The forum is intended to facilitate exchanges of experience among attending professionals, networking, and the acquisition of knowledge regarding issues of compliance and quality management. The event is aimed first of all at executives and supervisors involved in quality management, but it also has relevance for other supply chain departments, such as logistics, supplier management, production and of course IT.
