Buyer’s Guide 2012 Update: Pumps and Valves Fluid-control minivalve fits in ambulatory and portable devices

Redakteur: Kathrin Schäfer

Lee has expanded its HDI (high-density interface) valve series to include a 2/2-way magnetic valve in a normally closed design. Like the manufacturer’s 3/2-way HDI magnetic valves, this new minivalve is offered initially in a plug-in version.

This new fluid-control component, which further optimises the installation space requirement, lets OEMs put more valves in a much smaller area of their device. With its low power consumption level of only 850 mW, these 2/2-way miniature magnetic valves come as standard with a 12- or 24-V-DC coil. Electrical connection is effected by means of integrated pins in a 2.5-mm grid for standard miniplugs, making these valves suitable for use in ambulatory and portable devices as well as in stationary equipment and systems.
