Messe Frankfurt Exhibition Conference trade show for cleanroom technology opens in Frankfurt in October
The topic of cleanrooms has generally been covered for the trade show audience in the context of related industry events, but on 24 and 25 October this year the first Cleanzone conference trade fair appears in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Firmen zum Thema
The specialised event for cleanroom technology promises a comprehensive overview of all process steps, from planning through construction to the operation of controlled, contamination-free workplaces.
The idea behind Cleanzone is to bring all relevant business and crossover areas into one for two days. Manufacturers of cleanroom facilities, technology and components, as well as producers of associated consumer materials, will present displays at the specialist exhibition in Hall 4 of the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. Also presenting themselves will be universities and other academic establishments that contribute to the development of cleanroom technology.
The accompanying expert conference will deliver the scientific findings of international experts in the field.
Cleanroom technology grows increasingly relevant
“Cleanroom technology is becoming more relevant in international research and development, as well as in many industrial applications,” explains Klaus Reinke, a member of the executive management of Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH, which is organising Cleanzone. “With Cleanzone we are meeting this rising need and for the first time making its own, independent platform available to this technology of the future.” The objective is, Reinke says, to create for the cleanroom industry an autonomous environment for launching cooperations, deepening specialist knowledge, and presenting the latest technological developments.
Increasing demands on product quality and hygiene
The number of application fields for cleanroom technology is palpably growing. Additionally, requirements relating to medical device quality and hygiene are rising internationally, thereby increasing the demand for production under controlled environmental conditions. Because innovations have allowed miniaturised cleanrooms and complex cleanroom facilities to be installed, more and more small and medium-sized companies are profitably employing advanced cleanroom technologies. This trend lies behind Messe Frankfurt’s creation of a dedicated, autonomous trade platform in Cleanzone.
Prior to the launch of Cleanzone in October, the show is receiving support from several renowned industry experts. Reinraum-Akademie GmbH is the marketing and content partner providing advice on content and helping to devise the conference programme. VDI is contributing in the area of construction and building engineering. Other partners are the International Confederation of Contamination Control Societies (ICCCS) and Deutsche Reinrauminstitut e.V. (DRRI).
