“metal meets MEDICAL” at “METAV”

At the “METAV 2010”, which will be held on February 23 to 27, 2010 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the machine tool industry will showcase its combined know-how at a joint booth. With the slogan “metal meets MEDICAL”, a number of medical engineering suppliers will take the stage together in a large-scale special show. Siemens special stand under the motto “metal meets MEDICAL”

In the context of the special exhibition “Metal meets Medical”, initiated by the German Machine Tool Builders’ Association VDW, Siemens in cooperation with partners from the sectors machine tools, tools and instrumentation will present a Digital Factory to give a live demonstration of the whole process chain involved with the manufacture of medical products. The focus will be on the integrated planning and implementation of the major production steps in conjunction with the workpiece, the efficient use of resources and the standardization of the process and its continuous improvement. more
