May Industry Meet-Up in Lyon: Implants 2010

Olivier Cadi, joint manager for Implants 2010: “Light is going to be shed on questions about the future of the orthopaedics industry this year, too.”
The international orthopaedic implants and biomaterials conference and exhibition Implants 2010 takes place in Lyon, France, on May 27 and 28. Scientific Events, the organizer, aims to bring together industry players and market participants to discuss trends and innovations and develop buyer-supplier business relationships.
This year again, the Implants show will shed light on questions about the future of the orthopaedics industry and the design of tomorrow’s product solutions. Market trends, formalities, pricing, and research and development are among the topics that will be on the agenda.
Another intention of this industry-specific exhibition is to offer contract manufacturers a platform for presenting new products and services. This year sees the implementation of a special “buyers’ scheme,” designed to address buyers from major European and globally active orthopaedic companies and invite them to get to know available suppliers. A practical side effect of the show is the generation of commercial meetings between suppliers and buyers, who thus get an opportunity to converse in person and strengthen their networks.
